Preferred Deck’s Additive is a 100% acrylic emulsion polymer that serves as the primer/Bond Coat of the system and also acts as the “glue” when creating the Scratch and Texture Coats. Additive is a thin, milky consistency that is easy to work with and deeply penetrates the pores of concrete, creating a superior bond to the substrate. Additive is manufactured with the highest quality resins available, so that it is durable even with daily exposure to water, intense sunlight, and extreme heat.
