Ultrapure 1003120 UPP15 Ozone Generator 240V 60 Hz produces naturally occurring Ozone and introduces it into the water. Ozone is the strongest oxidizer available and works instantly. Since chlorine is no longer required for oxidation, chlorine demand is lowered by 60 to 70%. Also, the need for shocking and specialty chemicals is significantly reduced.
